Actress Rosemary Murphy has died aged 89. She played the unfortunate Margaret Halperin in the episode "A Friend in Deed"

I'm very sorry to hear it. I've always been very fond of her one scene with, where they're discussing poor Janice Caldwell.
She was also very good in the comedy ANY WEDNESDAY. She and Jason Robards played an estranged couple (they were sort of a comedy answer to Mark and Margaret Halperin).

She played that part very well!!!

Rosemary never married and appeared in a movie with Sian Barbara Allen in 1972. The thing I remember most about her role in Columbo was in how realistically she portrayed a dead body in the pool scene.
