Can anyone think of a common reference to something in both Forgotten Lady and Old Port in a Storm?

i remember him mentioning the title in "Port" but not in the other one.

By the way, when Columbo says he wishes he could stay and watch the movie with Karen, I think, that would be so weird.

One of the few movies of his that I know relatively well is THE CARPETBAGGERS. Like most Alan Ladd fans, I'm sure Karen would have a fit if she heard me say that!
