We had fun with the last one, so here are some more Columbo quotes. These all relate to the ladies of the show. Identify the episode and the character who spoke them!

"She was a beautiful person" refers to Sharon Martin by Harry Alexander in a Stitch in Crime

"I was really hung up on her" refers to Jenifer Welles by Paul Rifkin (I think?) in Etude in Black (I think, otherwise is it Troubled Waters?)

"Unfortunately, the poor child..." is Santini referring to his daughter.

"That lady wouldn't hurt a fly" referring to Edna Matthews by Dale Kingston in Suitable for Framing

Not sure on #3 yet, but it sounds familiar...

2 was definitely Rifkin in EIB

# 3 is the bandleader in TROUBLED WATERS.

All correct except #5 was Columbo speaking about Edna.

Kay Freestone said he was attractive.

I always got the impression that Nora Chandler had a liking for Columbo.

the poet/potter in "Death hits the jackpot" liked him. :-)

And of course, the Italian mother as well :)

And of course, when he says "I'm compulsive," Beth Chadwick says "Are you REALLY?" and moves toward him in a flirty sort of way. "Compulsive" can mean many things, but it sounds like she was trying to give it a sexual meaning.

Interesting and thought provoking guesses on which woman sounded like she liked Columbo. Actually, I was referring to the quote in "Blueprint for Murder" in which he refers to Goldie Williamson's massage lady as "sounded like she liked me".

Wasn't it "She's a lovely girl" ?
