the murderer in short fuse wears unbelievably tight trousers.

He's supposed to be an over the top trendy early ' 70s characters, so the tight pants go with that idea. Even his honor society medal looks like some trendy medallion, which is exactly what I though it was for a long while.

Although not as tight as Roger Stanford's, Bart Keppel wears pretty tight pants as well in Double Exposure.
