For those that remember Bill James, I regret to post that he has just recently passed away. i have no details...just this from the Pilot:
William Matthew James VIRGINIA BEACH - William Matthew James, 55, passed away peacefully Jan. 26, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. James. He is survived by his sister, Pamela James of Fremont, Calif. He had one son, Shawn M. Tetreault and his wife Tammy Tetreault of Key West, Fla. A memorial service will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Twiford Chapel, 929 South Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the memorial service. Condolences can be made at www.altmeyer.com.
I was really shocked to see this. I don't check this site often enough. I remember Bill from NOPF Ford Island. 55 is way too young. My condolences to the James family.
