Re: Probably the highest gas price in the US

You have a long way to go to match the prices in the Uk...currently £1.42 for diesel, which works out to about $6 a gallon.....and 2/3rds of that is tax to the government.....

Re: Probably the highest gas price in the US

A mere $3.81 9 here in upstate New York. It was $3.27 about a month and half ago. **** speculators!

Re: Probably the highest gas price in the US

3.89 a gallon here in WV. Thankfully, it's only 12 miles to the Virginia state line where gas is 3.49 a gallon.

Re: Probably the highest gas price in the US

Update - Eureka CA - regular gas is now $4.359 a gallon - diesel earlier today was $4.579 a gallon

Re: Probably the highest gas price in the US

$3.44 in San Antonio TX

Re: Probably the highest gas price in the US

Not any more, ours is 3.49.9 here today. I remember in 1973 stationed at Brawdy that we were paying 50p a liter for gas on the local economy. I miss the gas shortage in the USA, but was paying much more then also. We did not have an exchange gas station back then. Now to think about it, we didn't have much of anything except mud. They did eventually open a small exchange but it wasn't much. We still made runs to Greenham Common once a month.

Re: Probably the highest gas price in the US

The price a gallon of regular gas in Eureka CA is $4.399 - looks like $5.00 by Memorial Day
