I didn't have the pleasure of serving with Rick but I do recall meeting him during an ORI at Argentia in the late 70s. He and Jack Hallowell were running a section and I especially mentioned Rick and Jack in the ORI report citing how smoothly their section handled the "Battle Problem". Had the opportunity to spend some time with Rick during that visit and really found him to be as impressive as advertised.

****, each loss hurts more than the last. What a dear shipmate and fantastic memories I have of our time in New Foundland and then later in tidewater. I hope they have a 5.0 Mustang on the other side for you Rick.
