I did not have an opportunity to serve with John but his reputation as a first rate sailor in our system was/is well known.
Always sorry to hear of one of our system folks passing but unfortunately, at our age, its part of life.
I know John's passing is hard for the family. Pat and I pass our deepest and most sincere condolences to John's family. Try to remember and focus on the good times. From John's reputation, I sure there are many.
Another fine shipmate and friend has passed to the other side. Frog was a joy to be around, full of laughter and energy. Chris and I send our condolences and prayers to those Frog left behind on his next journey.
It's been years since Frog, DD Martin, and I roamed the alleyways of St John's in search of new targets. Old friend, we'll all be together again in a short while. My sincere condolences to Joan and family.
