It is a sad occasion when we remember Bruce in the past tense. I only had two occasions to work with him during my entire career. One involved the first Delta patrol in the pacific with numerous BCP instances in vertical multi-path complexity while serving as Analysis LCPO on Midawy. The other was a collaboration with Bruce and Will James following his extended analytical effort at Adak.
This man forgot more about detailed acoustics than I ever learned. A brilliant acoustic theoretician with the ability to clearly articulate key features to others less talented.
Fair Winds Bruce. We will meet again. My sincere condolences to family and friends.
I got to work with Bruce on several occasions at an overseas location. He was an acoustic analyst " par excellence" and always willing to share his knowledge.
