Re: Quantum SONAR Detection. Fact or Fiction

Hey John,
I wasn't trying to do anything more than share where ocean surveillance might be heading... and not that far in the future. I'll admit that when I first started doing some research I had a huge learning curve just to grasp the idea of near instant transmission from source to operator assisted A.I. recognition. The whole scenario I was familiar with was made instantly obsolete by technology leaps. But it does present new concepts that point toward robotic submersible target engagement. We'll never know how fast times are changing, but they have already started.
Cheers John

Re: Quantum SONAR Detection. Fact or Fiction

John,
I was just lying here thinking about the exploitation of "ambient" sound through salty seawater. It struck me that saline fluids are a tremendous propagator of ambient acoustic sound. So.. do you suspect that a submerged attack boat would reflect those ambient sounds with losses and pitch variations suitable to be discriminated by phononic coherence monitors... low cost devices that just signal their state when queried and, if different from surrounding ambience, would stand apart from other uninfluenced (non reflecting) devices in a field of thousands. The implications are clearly for more than one surveillance. Example...if an aircraft was flying through a field of RF phone emitters, microwave towers, or TV stations, would those signals reflect differences in coherence. Certainly. The possibilities are mind blowing.

Just random thoughts...

Re: Quantum SONAR Detection. Fact or Fiction

Rick, I love the read but again I would have to start from scratch on the subject to learn and better understand some of the fundamentals, an effort I am no longer willing to put forth.
I can see and understand where the tech is headed but the language is foreign to this old farm boy,
So I'll just continue to read yours and others posts in hope that some of it will eventually rub off.

Keep em comin. I"ll read and enjoy them.

One vid that encapsulates the concept

Re: Quantum SONAR Detection. Fact or Fiction

Interesting point. It seems likely that several factors together—shift work, smoking, dust exposure, and lifestyle habits—could all increase heart disease risk. I also enjoy learning from different online resources, including http://blooketjoinguide.org/ when exploring health and education topics.

Re: Quantum SONAR Detection. Fact or Fiction

The real question is "Why does quantum entanglement" exist. If different objects can behave identically when they are at great distances apart, why does that occur.

All things are quantum objects, linked in space time. Watch the video and be amazed.

Re: Quantum SONAR Detection. Fact or Fiction

Rick, I'm with John, you are blowing my mind! I'll keep watching, but I may need to go back to school for the basics. Technology is racing forward.

Hi Jane,
It is hard to grasp, but if the processes are developed it would mean a transparent ocean from top to bottom. Wild.

Good to her from you!
Rick
