I've asked this before and never really got any answer... Right now I'm watching dawns early light, in the beginning he is rigging the blank cartridge for the Canon to be fired during the Founders Day celebration. It has a screw in bullet on the end. if it is a blank, why does it have a live round screwed into the end? Is that just me not knowing what a blank cartridge looks like for a canon?

Ok, I just answered my own question... just before the team loads the cartridge into the canon, they unscrew the round on the end. I just never noticed before. Oops...
