That is fantastic news. The same thing happened at WLS a couple years ago.

With all that we hear about management downsizing news - in both air time and staff sizes - it is, indeed, refreshing to hear of managers who recognize the importance of their news product and their news people.

I feel extremely fortunate that Galesburg Broadcasting Co. pays for my membership -- and my colleagues' memberships -- in INBA, despite what is a tough situation for us sales-wise for a number of reasons.
