Last year I hit a deer, a 4 point buck. Had to leave it on the side of the road because I could not pick it up by myself to put it in the bed of my truck. When a person is hit, they bruise. If a deer is hit by a vehicle, does the meat become bruised? Would the meat be fit to eat? Love your show. I get a lot of useful information from watching.

Dear O\'Neill,

I\'ve really been enjoying the show and podcasts allowing me to catch up on shows I\'ve missed. A few weeks ago, you were going to tell us about your anniversary trip to Gatlinburg,TN but I think you ran out of time. We\'d all enjoy hearing about it. My wife and I took our honeymoon there this year and absolutely tore up the trout; even if we hadn\'t it would still have been a great trip. I look forward to calling in and sharing some information from my neck of the woods. Have a good one!

I won the Southern Grind black and tan knife a week or two ago. I received the knife in the mail yesterday. I would just like to thank you for having the knife sent to me and to say \"a job well done!\" to Southern Grind. This is an excellent knife and a serious piece of equipment. Thanks again.

You hit a homerun when you picked Travis Johnson as a partner on your show. I love his hunting tactics and tips he gives along the way, as well as yours. Keep up the good work and I will keep watching as always.

I fish but don\'t hunt, but love to see both on your show. I especially like that you include a lot of when, where and why, as well as tips.

I think you said sea bass and fresh water stripers are the same fish. If you had one of each cooked the same, would they taste the same?

Me and my 2 children aged 7 and 15 are very new to fishing. I would love some help on what, how and where is the best place to start so things aren\'t so frustrating? What\'s the best beginner rod and reel? We have gone a couple of times only to lose hooks, lures, etc.
Thank you for your time and God bless
